" CraZy FoWL RunnErS" Ragnar 2011....

Well this past weekend I had my first Ragnar experience. It was really fun! Through out the two days there are so many emotions that you feel. At first you feel excited and energized then by the second run which is at night you feel tired, irritable, exhausted and a little onery, by the third run you are so tired that there isn't any thing you can do. You get the giggles at anything anyone says. But over all I had a really good experience. Most of the team was made up of my family along with some of my sister's friends and bro-in-law and Brittany. We all got along really well in our van and had a blast. Due to T.J.'s knee he wasn't able to run in the race but he decided to be our driver. (I'm being specific to details only because I want to be able to remember years down the road the experience and the people.) We were in van #2 and in our van was Brittany, Julia, Jonathan, Brian, Me & Nick. In order that we ran. For my first leg I ran up trappers loop and believe me it was hard. Being that I live out in Layton on flat ground this was a challenge. My second leg I ran in the middle of the night and it was by
kauzi Dam( no idea how to spell it) and it actually wasn't to bad. For my final run I ran almost 7 1/2 miles severe downhill with one very steep hill. It was by far the most I have been challenged in running. It sounds like downhill would be easier but it was really hard on my knees and feet. It was hard but after I finished running it felt so good to have accomplished something I thought I couldn't have done. All in all I would love to run Ragnar again as long as I have great people to run it with. Thanks everyone for all the fun memories!! The only one I would like to leave behind are the HOney Buckets! Sorry for the picture overload, I could have put way more up but I decided that would be a bit to much:)

FouR MonThs...

Yes it has already been four months since our sweet Amelia came to us. She has gotten so big in the last little bit and is starting to develop in many different ways. She is a very good baby as long as she is fed. She sleeps almost through the night going to bed at 8:30 & waking up at about 5:30 to eat and then sleeps till 9:00.
She lately is into pursing her lips and spitting, and she also does this when she is done with her bottle and doesn't want anymore.
She has such a beautiful and happy smile, she smiles with her eyes
She loves to eat her hands
Is ticklish everywhere and laughs hysterically when tickled
Loves to have her face buried in a blanket when sleeping
Giggles at Olivia no matter what she is doing
takes way better naps than Olivia ever did
She is such a sweet baby with a beautiful spirit. We love her to death!
At her visit to Dr. Eberhard she had two shots and the rotavirus drops
her stats are
Weight 13 lbs 11oz 52%
Height 24 in 40%
Head Cir 16 40%

LOST....

Yes that's right I LOST MY WEDDING RING!!!! The day after losing my child at the marathon I lost my Ring in the church parking lot the next day. I think I have lost my mind!
I was driving on my way to church and realized that my legs desperately needed some lotion. So I proceeded to take off my wedding ring and put it in my lap. Well being that I was in a hurry, I quickly got out of the car and went around to get Amelia out. About 40 minutes into sacrament I looked at my finger and realized that I had't put it back on. This was probably the second worst feeling that I have had, the first having Olivia missing. I hurry and got up and ran to the parking lot. I looked in my car hoping and praying that it had slipped off before I got out but it wasn't in there and then I looked all over the ground. NO WHERE! I thought well maybe in my crazy head I thought I had put it on but really it was still at home. So I drove home to look, still no ring. How could I have been so stupid to forget about it? Well it's been over a week since losing it and no one has turned it in. I know it could be anywhere really but we looked all over the parking lot after and for a few days after and couldn't find it. I appreciate all the help from those that looked for me. I would rather it be lost than have had someone pick it up and take it. You would think someone would turn in a wedding ring that they found while at church in a church parking lot. But I guess not. I feel so mad at myself and disappointed that I lost my wedding ring. I LOVED my ring. I will say this, TJ handled it pretty well. Of course he says I'm lucky if I get another one anytime soon:( So if anyone hear's of a wedding ring being found give me a call. My ring does look slightly different than the above picture. It now has two wedding bands with diamonds on each side of the ring. Oh just thinking about it makes me sick! I guess I'll have to stop talking about it.
