December Happenings

We have a had busy December as I'm sure everyone else has to. I love this time of year from music, Christmas lights, Christmas parties to the spirit that is around. I'm grateful for the birth of my saviour and for his greatest gift to us. At our house we are especially grateful this year to be able to spend Christmas at our very own house.
Some of the things we have been up this month are : Christmas parties where Olivia was able to be an Angel in the nativity scene, going and seeing the little houses at Christmas Village and making sugar cookies at Grandma Call's house. She had a blast all the things we have done especially making cookies. She sat at the table for a few hours rolling the dough then using the cookie cutter and then rolling it out again. I'm fairly sure that there wouldn't have been any cookies left if it wasn't for me and grandma actually making some.
Over the past month Olivia has grown so much! She is talking like crazy and for the most part it is somewhat understandable. She is a little stink though and likes to tell me to stop if she doesn't like what I'm saying or doing and that I'm naughty. Some of the things that she has really been into lately are
1. horses
2. silly banz
3. care bear the movie
4. nail polish (loves getting her nails done, and when they start to come off she looks at them, gasps and then says "my nails" all sad.
5. jewelry
6. wearing pretty dresses and swirling in them
7. snacks (she doesn't want dinner or lunch, she wants a snack)
I took these pictures of her the other day and her personality totally came out in them, She is such a cheese ball yet sweet and fiery. I can't believe she is getting so big so fast!

Big Girl Bed

Olivia is finally sleeping a big girl bed!!! She has only been sleeping in it for a few days but so far she is doing great! I was really nervous that she would get out and not want to go to sleep but she loves her bed and loves getting in it. I can't believe that she is old enough to be in a big bed and it makes me realized how much she has grown in the last little bit. She of course looks tiny in her bed and when I go and check on her I can barely tell if she's in it. These pictures were taken the day she got it and she was so excited! She wanted to be in the picture on her bed so here she is.

Thanksgiving

We headed down to St. George this year for Thanksgiving to spend the weekend with T.J.'s family. We had a great time enjoying time with them and Olivia absolutely loved every second of it. She couldn't get enough of Grandma Kim and her cousin Rylee. So I took my camera all the way down there and when I went to take some pics I realized that I had left my compact flash in the computer at home! Errrr... I was so mad at myself. So there a only a few pics and they are from T.J.'s phone, so the quality isn't great.
Grandma Kim had a fun little activity for the little ones while we were cooking dinner. They made turkeys out of apples and marshmallows. Here is Olivia's, she couldn't resist having a few bites before it was done.
The next two pictures are of Olivia with Grandma's lipstick all over her face. I don't think she even came close to actually getting it on her lips. She accomplished getting all over her shirt though. Thank goodness for Kim and her getting the lipstick out of it.
Olivia and her cousin Rylee were so funny together and had a blast playing for a few days straight. While the girls went shopping on Friday the guys were in charge of the kids. I got a picture message from T.J. about half way through shopping that said "who Say's we can't babysit" They put the girls in the pack in play and told them to pretend to be sleeping. I thought it was pretty funny.
We had a great Thanksgiving and are so Thankful for all our many blessings,
I can't possibly name them all but here are a few:
Family
A home
The gospel
Jobs
Friends
freedom
Temples
and the list could go on.
I'm especially thankful for my hard working husband and his love.
For being able to be a mother
For my adorable Olivia and Amelia (9 1/2 weeks until she arrives)
My families health
My faith and testimony of the Gospel
I often forget about the wonderful blessings that I have . I'm truly grateful for my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.

October 2010

I can't believe that October has come and gone just like that! I feel like I didn't have a second to breath the entire month. We have been super busy with getting lots of stuff done around the house and preparing for this baby to come. With working part time and taking a ton of pictures, plus being 7 months pregnant and having a two year old, I feel exhausted! We enjoyed the warm weather all month long and had plenty of park days. Olivia is as busy as can be and is getting bigger and bigger.
Halloween this year was a ton of fun! Olivia had a better understanding of what she was supposed to do. She was the cutest little giraffe ever! We went to my sister's trunk or treat and only lasted about ten minutes due to the down pour that started as we did. After the rain stopped we decided to take her trick or treating to the houses with her cousins. She loved it! She wanted to walk the entire way and we went quite a few blocks. She said trick or treat at every door and thank you! It was a great Halloween with really yummy food, thanks to my mom and sisters! I didn't take very many pictures but I had to get one of my nephew Isaac, who was mad hader ( not sure how to sp). I think he pulled it off perfectly.

23 WeeKs and Counting!!

Yes it of course has been that long. I haven't really had a minute to breath let alone blog. Well I'm twenty three weeks pregnant now and it seems like it has gone by fast but at the same time it hasn't. I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed with a few things. I feel like the baby who has no name yet, will be here before I know it and I won't be prepared at all. Olivia still needs to be potty trained, put in a big girl bed and I haven't taken the binky away at night yet. Oh goodness what a mess I am. (ha ha) I want to document what this pregnancy is like so when I've had all my kids I will remember some of the differences and similarities with each pregnancy.
From the start this has been a different pregnancy.
1. I started showing way sooner than the first
2. I didn't throw up everyday but felt as if I could. I was nauseated 24/7 this time round.
3. I was extremely tired the first trimester
4. Migraines and severe headaches in the second trimester. I would rather throw up everyday than have a headache that doesn't go away for days.
5. I'm carrying this baby really low and she is on my bladder!
6. Really bad ache
7. memory loss
8. pregnancy gums/ whatever they call it
9. I haven't been able to really get a good nights sleep for at least a month now. I felt that the first time I slept better until about the last month
10. I felt this baby move around 18 weeks
I had my target ultrasound almost 2 weeks ago and here are a few pictures. They are a little blurry and hard to tell what is what but I still think it is quite amazing that there is such a thing as an ultrasound.

The placenta is on top of her head and face so you can't see it very well and it looks a little distorted

We are keeping the PINK!

Yep that's right! Olivia is going to have a little sister! We couldn't be more excited to have another little girl in our family. I know Olivia is going to be a great sister and they will be the best of friends ( they will have their moments). I grew up with six sisters I couldn't ask for better friends. Yes we have had our moments but it is always nice to know you can count on each other.

Here I am at 18 1/2 weeks and yes the answer to your question is I am HUGE!

Here I am 14 1/2 weeks

Birthday Number 26!

Well I turned the big 26! this past weekend and I was able to enjoy it with TJ's family in St. George. I had a great time laying by the pool, shopping, eating out and lots and lots or reading! Yes I was lazy and barely moved all weekend but I love to read and it was my birthday weekend! Ha! at least that's what the joke was all weekend. Just keep reading, it's your birthday weekend said Danny, TJ's dad. Oh it was so nice to just relax and not worry about chores and other to do stuff. When we got back up north my family had a dinner with yummy homemade ice and good food for me. Thanks everyone for making me feel special on my day! I love you all!The Hunger Games #3: Mockingjay

1,825 Days

Happy Anniversary to TJ and I!! We celebrated our Five year anniversary on August 3rd. I can't believe that it has gone by so fast! I love him to pieces and am so lucky to have him as my best friend, husband and a wonderful father. He truly is my better half and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him and eternity. These pictures are in no order with when they were taken and as I was looking for a recent picture of us together I couldn't find one. That's right not one! I guess we need to make more of an effort to.
For our anniversary this year TJ made the plans and took care of all the details. I loved not having to worry about anything especially finding a babysitter. We went to dinner, movie and then headed up the Ogden Canyon and stayed the night at the Alaskan Inn. It was really nice to have a date with TJ. Thanks for a wonderful evening! I love you!!

The Celebration Continued...

I'm not quite done posting about Olivia's Birthday. She was so spoiled this year by everyone and we are so thankful for all those that came to her party. We had a birthday party at Grandma and Papa's house with Olivia's cousins that are the same age. She loved all her presents and especially her stroller that we gave her. She also had a little celebration with TJ's parent's up at Bear Lake. Then we had a friend party for her at the South Ogden Splash Pad and it was a blast. For the first hour Olivia wouldn't let me put her down and she was very whiny but finally after some pizza (her favorite food) and presents she was ready to play. Thank you for all that came and supported her for her birthday!
Just some things that remind me of Olivia or that she does that I want to put down so that I will have them for when I forget:
~loves suckers
~climbs on anything
~jumps off of anything or onto anything
~she is such a monkey
~ still has a binky when she goes to bed (I know I really need to rid her of it)

{I want that}
{ I don't want that}
{ I'm hungry}
{Pretty}
{cute}
{ hold you}
{See ya}
And many more words that I'm sure I have put down before.
~ she wants to go potty whenever someone else does
~ She has no fear
~ Finally will somewhat let me brush her teeth
~ gives her baby dolls kisses and tells them she loves them
~ loves to have her toes and nails painted
~ Still into Dora
~ Wants to watch the horses all the time{Spirit the movie}
Here are stats which again are so I can look back and know what they were.
Weight: 23.8 lbs.~13%
Height: 35 in.~78%
Head cir: 18 in.~10%

Happy Birthday!

Yep Olivia turned the big TWO last week!! I took her pictures a few weeks ago and she didn't want to have anything to do with me while taking them. She walked up to me and pushed the camera away and said NO. I wish we would have gotten more of her smiling but most of these represent her at this stage in her life. She had to have a sucker almost the entire time or a piece of candy and once she saw the movie case in the car she wasn't going to put it down. Of course her being my child I think that everyone of them is adorable. For some reason they downloaded really pix elated and I can't get it to change. Happy Birthday Olivia! We love you very much and are so blessed to have your sweet spirit in our lives. You are such a spit fire and you never stop moving, ever! I hope you had a great birthday!
