Amelia's One!

Amelia is already one and I still have a hard time with admitting it. I feel like she isn't quite a baby anymore... This past year has been such a wonderful year with her in our lives. She brings the most wonderful spirit to our home with her happiness and smilies. She is honestly such a happy care free baby.
Amelia is still very good at eating
She loves her blanky
She is finally sleeping in her bed in her room and doing well
Amelia is busy and getting into everything, I'm not sure if she is into more than Olivia or if I just don't have as much time to chase her around.
She loves to say "HI"
She has three teeth on bottom and four on top
She loves her new front facing carseat
Amelia still lets me hold her and she still cuddles and lays her head on my shoulder
At Amelia's one year check up she came in at
Weight~ 19.15 lbs {29%} Height~ 28 1/2 in {28%} Head~ 17 1/4 in {15%}

New Year.... New happenings...

2012 has already brought some new changes to our household. TJ started a new job at the beginning of January. A great opportunity arose and he applied and got it! Change can sometimes be different and difficult but we knew that him taking the job was what was best for our family now and for the future. We are grateful for the opportunity and feel blessed to have it come at this time in our lives. Some differences that have come with the new job are... travel, yes TJ travels a few times a month but usually only two days at a time. He has already been able to visit Chicago and New York this month. He also has to travel to SLC which isn't that bad but considering that he only had to drive to west Kaysville it seems like a drive. He is excited about this new chapter in his life and couldn't be happier with how things are working out.
Not much has been going on with me this month.. I have been planning Amelia's party, it's been a lot of fun. I received a new calling in church this past month. I'm now the Young Women's secretary! I'm really excited about it and can't wait to get to know all the young women in our ward. We recently had our ward boundaries change which is a little bittersweet. We get to meet new people and build new relationships. We also changed buildings which is a little of an adjustment for me.
Olivia~ Where to start with her... She is the sweetest little thing I could ask for and also the most stinkerish little thing. She is seriously growing before my eyes.
She loves to ask questions, especially "Why" mommy? a gazillion times. I like that she is trying to learn and understand things that are being said and done around her.
She loves us to watch her. "mom watch, mom watch, mom WATCH!, MOM YOUR NOT WATCHING!" I have to be looking at her from the time she says watch until she is done and looking back at me.
If you ask her what she is doing or what is she up to she'll say "anything mom" she hasn't quite grasped the word nothing yet.
She cries when it's time to go to primary on Sunday but loves it when she is there. After the first week of primary she started singing I am a Child of God. She loves the song and can sing the first verse all the way through by herself.
She has this obsession of playing in the pack n play. She will put a bunch of toys in it and play even if Amelia is in there.
She loves to sing
When I tell her that a friend is coming over or we are going to grandma's her reply is always "tomorrow?" She thinks everything will happen tomorrow not today
She still either wants to be naked {panties on} or in a dress.
She will find a dress at the store and want to carry it around with her
She makes a million messes, more than I can clean up {help!}
Her imagination is growing and she loves to pretend things

Amelia Turned 1 this month... Sooo I'm going to give her her own post..
