Christmas

We ended Christmas day at my parents house with the whole family.
the only person that was missing this year was my niece Clara because of the flu.
Christmas has always been so much fun at my parents and every year the family gets
bigger and bigger. This is all of us trying to fit into the front room, mind you this is only my brother and sisters families no extended family. Nice and cozy

Audrey, Amanda and baby Ella

This picture means a lot to us and T.J.'s family.
There are five generations on his mom's side.
Grandma & Grandpa Winegar (Grandpa not shone)
Grandpa Tom, Grandma Kim, T.J. and Olivia.
Olivia recieved a pony from Grandpa Tom and Grandma Alice Kaye,
she actually really liked riding on it. She does a great job of sitting by herself, she only needs someone to hold her hands

T.J. and Josh with their hair hats. It was so funny to see them with these on.
The picture doesn't do it justice

Olivia opening her first christmas present
Christmas Eve was spent with T.J.'s family at our house.
We had a great dinner and talked about the Nativity Story and then opened some fun
presents. As you can tell from these photos it was a pretty low key night, which was great for us
just some relaxing and hanging out.
T.J.'s dad Danny

December fun

This past month has been really busy for us as it has for everyone and so I haven't had very much time to post. On T.J.'s side we had the annual Winegar Christmas Party! This was Olivia's first time sitting on Santa's lap and she wasn't really sure what to think about it. We had lots of fun and food that night, thanks to the Winegar family for putting it all together.

Here we are as a family with Santa
On December 19Th Abby and Jonathan were married in the Ogden Temple.
The weather wasn't the best at the temple but Abby looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. It was so weird to have my little sister get married, she was the last one out of all of us.
After the temple we headed to the lunch and had some yummy food.
The newlyweds
Olivia was exhausted
My dad did a wonderful job with his solo he sang, he has an amazing voice!

With all the chaos and preparation, I wasn't able to get any pictures of the wedding reception.
It looked so good and elegant.

The Winner Is!

I just have to say wahoooooooooooo! Michelle won the Biggest Losser! I'm so happy that Vicky and her husband didn't win anything, the only down was that Heba won the hundred grand by FOUR pounds! I was so excited for Amy, I wish she would have won instead of Heba. Everyone looked really good and I think that it is really amazing to see these people change their lives. Can't wait until January 6th when the new season starts.

Cousins

The past few weeks we have spent almost everyday with my sister Audrey and her cute twins Emmie and Ella. We love spending time with them. They have already changed so much since they have been here. We can't get a lot done when it's just Audrey and I with three babies but we still have fun. So Audrey's babies are on a really good schedule and of course Olivia is not so when we do try to do stuff like take pictures it is kind of hard. There is always one baby that is tired, unhappy, poopy, has spit up on them (that one is mostly Olivia, hence her wet shirt in the picture) or hungry. It is a lot of work to have two babies to yourself, it takes twice as long to feed them, dress them, and get them in the car. So I have to tell Audrey that she is a great mom and she does such a great job with her babies. Well anyways we have tried to take pictures of the twins a few times and they haven't always turned out but finally the other day we got a few of the twins and a picture of all three of them and yes this is the only picture that they were all looking and were happy.

FOUR MONTH CHECKUP

Olivia had her four month checkup last week and I can't believe she is that old already! She is doing great says the doctor, her weight is 12.8 lbs. which puts her in the 25% and her height is 24.25 in. which is the 65% and last but not least is her head 15cm which is only in the 3%. She has grown in so many ways in the last few months, her personality is really starting to blossom. She has started to babel a ton more especially when she is laying down, I have no idea why but that seems to be her most talkative time. She is now grabbing at things and she looks at them with lots of curiosity. She smiles at everyone all the time, we call her a Courtesy smiler because she smiles at anyone even when she is crying. She is always happy unless she is hungry or tired. Olivia is quite the strong little baby, she tries while lying down to sit up and she loves to stand. She rolls from her stomach to back but not quite the other way. She is such a sweet little baby that we love so much and every moment is wonderful. She has already changed in a few months which makes me sad but at the same time very excited about all the new things she will learn and do.

Biggest Loser Fans

For all those that sit down and watch the biggest loser every week I want to hear what you have to say. I'm a very big fan of the show and I'm amazed at the weight the contestants lose. This season has really gotten to me and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. I'll give my two cents about it if anyone wants to hear it.
First of all I was so upset when Amy and Phil went home, I loved them and they were great people. Second thing I can not stand the blue team!!! Why the heck would you vote by colors and not by threat? So if you follow the show then you'll know who ViCkY is, I can't say much about her because it wouldn't be very nice. Man she doesn't know when to stop with the rude remarks and game playing. She has been so rude to everyone and she doesn't care what she says or does to win. Then there is HEbA and Ed the married couple, I can't stand them either. So anyways the next episode said something about America voting for the third person in the finale and for those that are cheering for Michelle you need to vote!

Thankfulness

I know this sounds silly but as I was trying to get my sick little baby to go back to sleep last night I started thinking of everything I'm thankful for. First and for most I want to say how thankful I am to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I wouldn't find the joy or happiness in life if I didn't have a testimony of their love for all of us. I'm truly thankful for the gospel and having the blessing of being raised in a home with the teachings of it.
I'M THANKFUL FOR: Without T.J. I wouldn't know what to do. He is what holds our family close together, he has something special that I have a hard time with and that is finding the good in people and never looking down on anyone. For those that know T.J. you'll know what I mean when I say there is never a dull moment when he is around. T.J. can light up a room or put a smile on some one's face within seconds of being around. He always has a joke or funny story and he is the best story teller I have ever met. He has a wonderful personality and spirit and I'm thankful for what he does for our family. I love him as friend, father and a husband. Thank you for being you! Love You!
I'M THANKFUL FOR: What a blessing it is to have a child. My little Olivia is the heart of our family and brings such a wonderful spirit to our home. She is such a happy baby, always smiling with those beautiful eyes. Everyone lights up when they see her, she has a way of making everyone happy. I think she has her dads way with people, of course it does help that she is beautiful which I think she gets some of it from me. Ha Ha. I'm thankful that I get to wake up to her and that pretty little smile.

I'M THANKFUL FOR: I have an amazing family and what joy they bring to me. I have been so very blessed with a large family with parents that love all of us. I had the great example of my parents and siblings growing up and I couldn't have asked for better people. I'm thankful for all of the spouses that have come in to our family and for them dealing with all of us. I love my family! I thank all of you for your love and kindness to me and my family. I'm also thankful for T.J.'s family. They are so kind to let us come and stay with them in St. George all the time. I'm thankful for the way they raised T.J. and the spirit they have in their home. Thank you for your love. Side note is that not everyone is in these pictures which implies that both are a little outdated. So I'll give a shout out to Nathan and Emily that aren't in my family picture and all the married in spouses and in T.J.'s family there are the married spouses and a few babies.

I'M THANKFUL FOR: Temples are amazing buildings on the outside and the inside. I don't think in my opinion that there are any buildings that compare to temples in beauty. What a sacred place that Heavenly Father has given us to be able to go and forget the world outside. I'm so thankful to live in a place with such an abundance of temples is such a short radius. I love all of the temples but I choose this picture of the Nauvoo Temple because of the significance of it in church history. I can not imagine the labor and dedication it took them to build it back then. They had such a strong testimony of the church and of the temple and the importance of it. I look up to those that stayed strong through hard times and put their faith in the lord.

I can't write everything I'm thankful for or else I would go on and on forever. Thank you for staying with me and hope that you can think of some things your thankful for this day.

Snap Shots of Olivia

I know I haven't posted anything for a while so I had a few minutes before work and thought I'd post some recent pictures of Olivia. Not much has been going on around the Robert's house but on Saturday we all got to meet the TWINS! They are so cute and fun! I can't wait until they are all big enough to play with each other. On Sunday we went over to the Powell's for the girls blessing and lots of fun with all the family.

Knitted Hats and Flowers

I've been fortunate enough to quit my job and stay at home with my beautiful baby and have decided to take up some hobbies. So I recently picked up knitting hats and making bows to go on them for little babies and toddlers. They can be for boys and girls and come in a variety of colors. They are great for the cold months or just decorative. To see more pictures of the hats and flowers check out my other blog SugarNspicepics.blogspot.com

Engagement Party!

On Saturday night we went to Abby and Jon's engagement party, it was a Halloween theme and so we all dressed up in our costumes. We had a lot of fun and yummy food.

Abby was dressed up as an Indian and Emily and Darin were from the eighties. She was the cheerleader and he was her football boyfriend. The funny thing was they really went to high school in the eighties. If you can't tell Darin had on a long wig and boy was it hilarious!

Pre Halloween fun

We had a pumpkin carving party at our house this past friday with our friends. We had lots of fun with each other carving pumpkins and watching a movie. This is the end result of our pumpkins, everyone made a joke about T.J.'s pumpkin but I think it was a good idea and it turned out great!

Here we are carving our pumpkins, Olivia was so tired that night and so we didn't get any pictures of her.

Thanks everyone for coming we had lots of fun!
