" CraZy FoWL RunnErS" Ragnar 2011....

Well this past weekend I had my first Ragnar experience. It was really fun! Through out the two days there are so many emotions that you feel. At first you feel excited and energized then by the second run which is at night you feel tired, irritable, exhausted and a little onery, by the third run you are so tired that there isn't any thing you can do. You get the giggles at anything anyone says. But over all I had a really good experience. Most of the team was made up of my family along with some of my sister's friends and bro-in-law and Brittany. We all got along really well in our van and had a blast. Due to T.J.'s knee he wasn't able to run in the race but he decided to be our driver. (I'm being specific to details only because I want to be able to remember years down the road the experience and the people.) We were in van #2 and in our van was Brittany, Julia, Jonathan, Brian, Me & Nick. In order that we ran. For my first leg I ran up trappers loop and believe me it was hard. Being that I live out in Layton on flat ground this was a challenge. My second leg I ran in the middle of the night and it was by
kauzi Dam( no idea how to spell it) and it actually wasn't to bad. For my final run I ran almost 7 1/2 miles severe downhill with one very steep hill. It was by far the most I have been challenged in running. It sounds like downhill would be easier but it was really hard on my knees and feet. It was hard but after I finished running it felt so good to have accomplished something I thought I couldn't have done. All in all I would love to run Ragnar again as long as I have great people to run it with. Thanks everyone for all the fun memories!! The only one I would like to leave behind are the HOney Buckets! Sorry for the picture overload, I could have put way more up but I decided that would be a bit to much:)
