Crazy Cross Eyed...

Yes this image is a little creepy looking... HAha . Olivia has always found it entertaining when we would go cross eyed and for the longest time she thought she was actually doing it herself. But until about two weeks ago she wasn't. She finally figured it out and she cracks up when she does it. I think it is pretty funny.

911...

Oh where to start.... First and foremost I feel like the worst mom alive!! I should be more prepared to handle a situation like this. I now think that hospitals should give you a crash coarse on CPR and the Heimlich before they let you go home with the baby.
So here is the story...
Monday afternoon the girls and I were in the office downstairs. I was on the computer and the girls were playing in Olivia's princess tent right next to me. I was under the assumption that they didn't have any toys. I checked on them a few times and about 2 minutes later I heard Amelia gagging. I opened the tent and her face was purple! I immediately picked her up and looked for something in her mouth. There wasn't anything there. She then threw up and still nothing came out. I picked up my phone and dialed 911 because I was so panicked stricken that I had to get help. I put my finger in her mouth to check if it had come up but nothing. Then my finger brushed up against something hard and a little sharp down in her throat. I then knew it was a piece to a frame from Ikea that you hang it with. She wasn't purple anymore but she was in so much pain. She kept throwing up and trying to cry. The Sheriff arrived and I ran to meet him on the front lawn and he quickly turned her upside down and hit her back a few times and it finally shot out of her mouth. I felt so helpless. They checked her oxygen levels and they were fine and she didn't have any serious bleeding so they told me to take her into the Dr's. to get her checked out. I think all three of us were traumatized from this experience but it made me realize how I need to be more prepared and alert. Olivia felt bad about it and I'm hoping that it has made it so she wont give her things anymore. Crossing my fingers. I'm just so glad that everything is okay and that nothing serious happen to her.

Let's Party...

We celebrated Olivia's 3rd birthday last week! She is getting so big and interdependent lately. I love this girl to death! She has the sweetest little spirit and yet she can have the most snappy attitude also. Olivia had a wonderful time with all her friends that came a celebrated with her. Thank you for all your support! For her birthday she got a trampoline from us and lots of toys from everyone. She is still completely obsessed with ponies, horses, dresses and princesses. I love that she is into all of these things. She sleeps with a dress on almost every night and has to have at least one horse with her. So I thought it fitting to have a My Little Pony theme party. She loved her invites and wanted to carry it around all day and look at it. I took her into her annual check up and she is doing great with everything that is except going potty on the toilet.
Her stats are:
weight 28 lbs ~ 25%
Height 38 in. ~ 78%

Half way To a Year!

Amelia is already 6 months old. She is getting so big!
Started rolling
notices when she is alone in the room
Has gotten way wiggly
Still smiles at everyone
She gets upset when something is taken from her or she can't get it
Loves baby food, except peaches
takes good naps
lets anyone hold her
Her feet are getting so chubby that hardly any of her shoes will even go on:)
She still loves her hands and thumb
Drools like crazy
Loves her exersaucer
She is a very even tempered baby that is mostly content with about anything
I love this little girl so much and I can't believe she has grown so fast and is getting so big. We can't imagine life without her. She is wonderful!
We took her in to the Dr's for her check up and shots last week and here are her stats
Weight: 16 lbs 4.5 oz. ~55 %
Height: 26 in.~ 58%
Head Cir: 16 5/8~ 42%
So I feel really bad that I have hardly any pictures of Amelia. I have sooo many of Olivia as a baby. I guess I better start snapping away.

Finally Family Pictures...

Yes we have finally had our little families pictures taken! Being the one behind the camera makes it pretty difficult to take my own families pictures. Well thank goodness for my most talented cousin Amber with Togisala Photography for capturing these beautiful pictures of us. Here are just a few of them. I'm so happy that I now have some pictures of all of us together. Olivia of course was a stink from the start to the end and Amelia was an absolute doll.
